Most decks run $12,000–$35,000 depending on size and material. Pressure-treated wood sits at the low end, Trex and TimberTech higher up front but with almost no upkeep after.

Fencing is usually priced by the linear foot and varies a lot by type. Wood privacy and chain link are the most affordable; vinyl and aluminum cost more and need almost no maintenance.
